Experience

At SHOOK PR, we believe in the power of the individual—not big government, not bloated institutions. Founded by Blair Castro, SHOOK PR stands on the principle that every voice deserves to be heard, especially those silenced or overlooked by the establishment. Our mission is simple: help real people cut through the noise, protect their values, and tell their stories without compromise.

Blair Castro has been on the front lines of American elections since 2007, working across the political spectrum while never wavering in her belief that liberty, local control, and personal responsibility are what move our country forward. Armed with 13 national campaign certifications and a deep understanding of grassroots mobilization, Blair has helped candidates and causes win with bold messaging, smart strategy, and no-nonsense execution.

For over a decade, Blair has also served as a trusted ghostwriter for public officials, political newcomers, and community leaders—crafting speeches, policy statements, reports, and media content that speak to the heart of conservative values: faith, family, freedom, and fiscal responsibility.

Commitment

Blair Castro is a Pensacola native who has dedicated her life to strengthening the Gulf Coast through faith, family, and community-driven leadership—not government overreach. A proud mother of two, Blair understands the importance of preserving local values while building opportunities for the next generation.

Her passion for education, entrepreneurship, and economic growth has made her a respected force in Northwest Florida. Blair served as Managing Editor of a local digital newspaper and has held leadership roles across a wide range of civic and nonprofit organizations—including the Mass Transit Advisory Committee (MTAC), the Minority Chamber of Commerce, and the Monument to Women Veterans, where she served as Director of Government Affairs.

She is a proud member of Christ Church Pensacola and believes that strong communities are built by people of faith, not bureaucracy. Blair is a past board member of Keep Pensacola Beautiful, Panhandle Tiger Bay Club, the Institute for Women in Politics, Sunday’s Child, and the West Florida Collaborative Law Group, among others.

A graduate of Leadership Pensacola’s Class of 2022, Blair brings both hands-on experience and a principled, constitutional mindset to every initiative she supports focused on empowering individuals, not expanding government control.

Education

lair Castro’s educational journey is defined by a relentless drive to lead, learn, and advocate for others—rooted in both scholarship and real-world action.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where she served as President of OUTlaw, the school’s LGBTQ+ student organization. In that role, Blair helped draft and promote three local ordinances designed to provide critical protections and benefits for same-sex couples—at a time when marriage equality was still not recognized. Her work helped pave the way for more inclusive policies and earned her a reputation as a principled advocate willing to stand up for people from all walks of life. She remains proud of that chapter, which reflects her core belief: every American deserves equal rights under the law, with minimal government interference in their private lives.

Blair also holds a Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, where she graduated with honors and earned recognition in Project & Team Management and Media & Publishing Distribution.

Her commitment to understanding global conflict and bridging divides led her to Jerusalem, where she earned a Graduate Certificate in Conflicts from Religious Traditions through The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. There, she studied religious mediation and conflict resolution on the front lines—learning how ancient tensions between faiths can be addressed through listening, leadership, and diplomacy. Blair’s experiences navigating those high-stakes environments have shaped her ability to bring people together—even in the most polarized settings.

By age 19, Blair had already earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law/Political Science from the University of West Florida. Today, she brings that same early-career drive into every campaign, classroom, and community conversation she leads.
